Matt Palentchar has been practicing law in Florida since 2004 and he has practiced in several areas. Even though his current law practice focuses almost exclusively on real estate law, especially corporate transactions, he also sometimes dabbles in probate, simple estate planning, and small business law, as necessary. He has come a long way from his childhood in Colonia, NJ, where he spent most of his time playing organized sports. From there, he earned a political science degree from Rutgers and a law degree from Ohio Northern University. Soon after, however, it was off to Florida, where he passed the bar exam and started his career as a lawyer in 2004.
He started with general practice law firm in Naples, Florida, where his skills were scattered among many different practice areas, but he tired of that soon and, in 2005, he established Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., PA, which he ran until a terrible illness and a few other personal issues forced him to leave Florida for a time in 2010. Being tough, he recovered soon and returned to Florida to form Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, where he lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs. In addition to having a firm that is focused exclusively on real estate law, he is also involved in the community. Matt Palentchar spends a lot of his free time volunteering for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), where he serves as a Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children who need his services.
